About Institute for Smart, Resilient and Future Cities (ISRFC)

Institute for Smart, Resilient and Future Cities (ISRFC) is an impact initiative of Taru Leading Edge to promote new thinking, solutions and partnerships in urban space. It works towards converging think tank and advisory roles and opportunities in areas of urban planning/ designing, urban development, urban services, and urban management covering range of issues within smart, resilient, sustainable, inclusive, futuristic and citizen centric frameworks. The institute, launched in September 2016, is a recent initiative to showcase TARU’s strength, reach and capacity while bringing in new knowledge, innovations and debates.

The institute is designed and developed to promote new knowledge, solutions and ideas within and outside TARU. The institute is dedicated to forge new alliances and partnerships amongst professionals from urban and other allied sectors. Institute’s work focuses on influencing policy debates through research, innovative projects and advocacy events by bringing in together academicians, practitioners and policymakers from urban sector and other allied sectors.
